Meet Olivia
“My goal with the project is to bring more herbal learning opportunities to people on both sides of the Atlantic. I believe herbalism should always be rooted in joy & humble curiosity. May CWHS be a path for us to build an authentic relationship with our eco-systems and one another.”

Meet the Team
Collective Wonder would not exist without the help of many fabulous folks. Those who help Olivia with day-to-day functioning of the school are often in rotation and do so generously through work-trade positions. Here are some of the people who are most currently involved with Collective Wonder.

Guest Teacher & Adviser
Fernanda is Portugal’s most cherished herbalist. She acquired her initial herbal training with Christopher Hedley and then at the Scottish School of Herbal Medicine. Over the course of the last 40 years Fernanda has guided hundreds of herb walks all over Portugal and authored numerous herbals. Always advocating for our planet, she travels across the country sharing plant stories and bringing people back to their roots of traditional medicine.

PhotographerNoa is a visual artist whose work focuses on creating new connections between plants & folk knowledge while thinking through a new lens of intersectionality and queerness. Their passion for herbal studies and art show through in not only in their photography, but also in zines, and natural fiber crafts. Noa has been part of the Collective for many years. We are deeply grateful for their beautiful photographs, many of which are displayed throughout the website.
